Neila R. Bell started her career as a certified nursing aid and was inspired to join the field of audiology after seeing the need for improved hearing health care in nursing facilities. She will earn her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Iowa in 2025. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Northern Iowa. Her externship at Oregon Health and Science University focused on cochlear implants.
As a CNA, Neila was proud of her reputation as a compassionate and intuitive caregiver and strives to carry those attributes into her career as an audiologist. In her free time, she enjoys hiking new trails in the Pacific Northwest and exploring new restaurants.
